DEON TAYLOR GRABS RADIO ATTENTION IN FIRST WEEK
Summer is more than a season. Deon Taylor is making it a state of mind. The Adobe Roads Records artist is celebrating the release of his debut single "Tropical Vacation". The single is garnering a lot of attention at radio "Tropical Vacation" coming in with 46 stations on board and 452 plays for the week! The feedback has been terrific.
His first single comes from the debut of the cd "Light After Dark" produced by singer songwriter Gary Cotton. The cd released this week includes a variety of songs ranging from a traditional country sound to a more contemporary mix. With such a great start there is no question that "Tropical Vacation" is poised to become one of the year's great country hits.
Originally from Chattanooga, Taylor was personally invited by Willie Nelson to perform for 50,000 people at Farm Aid with such greats as John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Martina McBride. With the release of his first single, Taylor will embark on a radio tour to promote the song, something he looks forward to.
Movie star handsome, Taylor loves his job and has been writing and singing since he was a small boy. Many of the songs on "Light After Dark " are upbeat and fun and fans will enjoy having as much fun as Taylor does on stage. Deon Taylor knew very early in life what his calling would be. His interest in songwriting and performing and his natural ability for playing almost any instrument he chose to play inspired him through childhood and were finely honed into adulthood. Early gigs playing in churches in and around his hometown of Chattanooga Tennessee have given him a strong foundation of faith on which to build his musical career.
